After previously earning the ISO 9001 accreditation, the Williams Commerce team are delighted to have been awarded the ISO 27001 certification as well.
The ISO 27001 is testament to the fact that our company adheres to the best practice for information security management systems which has been set out by the International Organisation for Standardisation (ISO).
To earn the ISO 27001 : 2013 accreditation, the Williams Commerce team had to be independently audited, demonstrate that we meet local and global security laws and prove our commitment when it comes to information security.
Having been awarded this certification means added peace of mind and reassurance for our customers that we are meeting industry best practise and that the technologies, documents and processes we use meet these high standards. It also allows us to ensure we minimise potential for any potential data breaches, whilst meeting the increasing demand for robust cyber security.
Obtaining our ISO 27001 accreditation has also been part of our ongoing preparation to maintain high information security standards and provides a good foundation for our preparations around becoming GDPR compliant.
